Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop software for Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) flight simulators
• Design, code, and integrate software within real-time environments
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems regarding program intent, output requirements, and data acquisition
• Design and implement build procedures to support hardware and software product development
• Ensure all hardware and software standards are met and may train developers on configuration management and quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency in C++ using object-oriented programming features
• Experience in at least two of the following: Embedded Software, Embedded Software Security, Embedded Operating Systems (Linux, RTOS, VxWorks, etc.), or Software Architecture Design
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF theory and its application in systems
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Perl, and MATLAB for data analysis
• Experience troubleshooting systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or spectrum analyzers
• Knowledge of networking and IP-based equipment
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems
