Software Engineer (Python)

Responsibilities

• Work with APIs to integrate payment providers (PSPs) and fintech solutions
• Assist in troubleshooting payment-related issues
• Analyze transaction flows, payments, and reconciliation processes
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Finance teams
• Generate reports and dashboards using payment and transaction data
• Contribute to the evaluation and onboarding of new payment methods and partners

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in fintech, payments, or related fields
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data
• Proficiency with SQL
• Experience with Python using Flask or Django
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills to work across technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of PCI-DSS, Open Banking, or other payments-related regulations
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with payment fraud prevention and risk management concepts
• Exposure to ETL processes, data pipelines, or workflow automation
