Software Engineer (Python)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and architecture of industry-leading modern storage platforms
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including development, testing, continuous delivery, and maintenance
• Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Conduct discovery tasks and proof of concepts regarding modern networking solutions
• Implement company standards to ensure high quality and security

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related software engineering experience
• Proficiency in C and/or Python, with a willingness to learn across the full stack
• Strong understanding of modern Linux, including the kernel, drivers, containers, and low-level technologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from design to implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with storage systems
• Knowledge of networking technologies such as Ethernet or InfiniBand
• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
