Software Engineer - Product

Responsibilities

• Take strong product ownership and actively seek responsibility for small to medium projects
• Work autonomously within a close-knit team to shape the future of Mercury's product offerings
• Partner closely with designers and product leaders to ship high-quality, intuitive user experiences
• Collaborate within a specific product group such as Banking, Everyday Experiences, Expansion, or Risk
• Balance technical tradeoffs to find creative solutions that meet customer needs

Requirements

• 1-4 years of backend or full-stack development experience
• Knowledge of, or a strong desire to learn, Haskell, React, TypeScript, and Redux
• Proven experience building and shipping new products
• Ability to incorporate AI tools into your workflow to accelerate development and improve code quality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers
