Software Engineer, Product Frontend

Responsibilities

• Spec and build beautiful, consistent, and fast product features that encourage user exploration.
• Work across the full stack, including AWS, Node.js, SQL, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand user needs and build impactful products.
• Own and execute end-to-end implementation of new features, including cutting-edge onboarding experiences using AI.
• Lead large-scale strategic initiatives and contribute to technical strategy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in modern full-stack web development.
• Strong emphasis on user-facing feature development and full-stack work.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React.
• Fluency in both frontend and backend technologies.
• Deep understanding of web technologies and large-scale web application architecture.
• Background in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in San Francisco (Embarcadero) or New York City (Soho) at least 2-3 times per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging frontier AI capabilities to build modern user experiences.
• Proven track record of leading strategic technical initiatives in a product-oriented environment.
