Software Engineer, Product Experiences

Responsibilities

• Build and own features across the Peregrine platform including Search, Dossier, Charts, Dashboards, Maps, and Automations
• Work cross-functionally with design and product management to ship fast, intuitive, and trustworthy experiences
• Develop search and semantic discovery capabilities to help users navigate billions of records
• Craft real-time, collaborative experiences on detailed maps and networks
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities while ensuring source transparency and trust
• Obsess over craft details such as latency, interaction design, and resilience

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams
• Experience shipping production-grade, user-facing software professionally or in open-source
• Strong frontend fundamentals in React and TypeScript
• Comfort working full-stack to ship features end-to-end
• Ability to write robust, well-tested, and well-designed code
• Solid understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems
• Located in San Francisco or Washington, D.C. and open to working in office
