Responsibilities

• Lead development of the customer experience across Base web and mobile applications
• Define and evolve frontend architecture for a fast, reliable, and scalable product platform
• Own major product surfaces end-to-end from concept through production
• Work with backend engineers to design APIs and data models
• Partner with product and design to shape the roadmap
• Establish engineering standards and improve developer experience
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar for product engineering
• Use analytics and experimentation to improve the member experience

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product or full-stack engineering roles
• Deep expertise in TypeScript
• Proficiency in modern web frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Strong experience designing frontend architecture for complex web applications
• Track record of owning products from concept through launch
• Ability to work across the stack and collaborate on APIs
• Strong product judgment and ability to simplify complex systems
• Experience using product analytics and experimentation to guide decisions
• Technical depth and first principles thinking
