Software Engineer, Platform

Responsibilities

• Own the data infrastructure powering streaming and batch data processing
• Build the contract application engine to match usage lines to contract terms
• Design data models for multi-provider support across various source formats
• Build data validation and quality control systems
• Optimize storage patterns and query approaches for performance at scale
• Collaborate across the stack with backend and product teams

Requirements

• Meaningful experience with data products (warehouses, lakehouses, OLAPs, ETL)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with streaming, event-driven, and batch data
• Comfort with columnar databases and cloud storage
• Ability to navigate inconsistent documentation and evolving schemas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building systems that reconcile streaming and batch data
• Experience with durable execution systems or embedded databases
