Software Engineer - Platform

Assembled is a unified platform that orchestrates human agents and AI at scale. Companies like Canva, Etsy, and Robinhood use Assembled to coordinate their entire support operation, including in-house agents, BPOs, and AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the core systems that power Assembled's products end-to-end
• Work on foundational problems across infrastructure, data platforms, and integrations
• Develop scalable application infrastructure, including container orchestration and observability
• Build and maintain an integrations platform to ingest data from CRMs, ticketing systems, and AI model providers
• Develop modern data foundations to transform raw data into reliable, queryable datasets
• Support both low-latency operational paths and heavy analytical workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience in backend, platform, or infrastructure systems
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes and Karpenter
• Experience with Postgres, PgBouncer, Snowflake, or Redis
• Proficiency in Go or Python
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and figure out system abstractions and tradeoffs
• Strong focus on reliability, maintainability, and performance
