Software Engineer, Planner Vehicle Dynamics

Responsibilities

• Work with a creative team to ensure car behavior is safe, dynamically feasible, reliable, and comfortable
• Design and deploy algorithms to measure performance of state of the art technology for handling various weather and degraded conditions
• Work on projects at the intersection of traditional robotics and modern ML techniques

Requirements

• BS/MS/PHD in Computer Science, Robotics, or similar technical field
• Experience building, integrating, debugging, and evaluating ML-based systems
• Strong experience with Python for data analysis
• Strong experience with SQL and large datasets
• Strong experience programming in C++ with robust and efficient code
• Strong software architecture skills
• Ability to work on a distributed team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying Machine Learning to generate vehicle models
• Experience solving motion planning or related robotics problems
