About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for the ShipMonk fulfillment platform using PHP and Symfony
- Build REST-like APIs consumed by web clients, warehouse robots, and automation hardware
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance at terabyte scale
- Contribute to monorepo development, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deploy reliable, high-availability services
Requirements
- Strong PHP development skills, preferably with Symfony framework experience
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment workflows
- Proficiency with MySQL and query optimization
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Elasticsearch, or RabbitMQ
- Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality tools
