Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Lead architectural design decisions and contribute to the overall software development lifecycle
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2-4 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Unix and Shell scripting
• Experience with database management systems such as Oracle or PL/SQL
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of security best practices in software development
