Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver user stories within an Agile development lifecycle
• Write highly performant, well-structured, and well-tested code
• Solve complex problems and identify technical debt or risks
• Collaborate with Product Owners on release and iteration planning
• Review code for testability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
• Mentor junior team members

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Python and Django
• 2+ years of experience with C#, .NET Framework, or .NET Core
• 1+ years of experience with ASP.NET Web API
• Expert knowledge of RESTful Web API patterns
• Expert knowledge of .NET data access frameworks (ADO.NET, Dapper, EF, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of MSSQL and query optimization
• Strong unit and integration testing skills
• Experience with Git and build/deploy tools like Jenkins or GitLab

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience reverse engineering legacy Python/.NET services or MSSQL stored procedures
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET 5, or .NET 6
• Experience with RabbitMQ, New Relic, AWS, Azure, or React/TypeScript
• Familiarity with Slack, JIRA, or Confluence
