Software Engineer, Payments Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design secure-capture protocols and tokenization platforms for sensitive payment data
• Own the security perimeter and cardholder-data environment infrastructure
• Build deterministic, auditable detection systems to prevent plaintext data exposure
• Develop processor-agnostic charging and self-serve onboarding for other engineering teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building backend, platform, or infrastructure systems
• Fluency in Go and experience owning critical distributed systems
• Strong security instinct regarding blast radius and least privilege

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated domains like PCI, payments, or healthcare
• Expertise in applied cryptography, key management, or cloud security
• Experience building internal protocols, SDKs, or developer services
