About the role
About the Company
Neuralink is creating devices that enable a bi-directional interface with the brain to restore movement to the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and revolutionize human-digital interaction.
Responsibilities
- Own the software stack powering pathology and histology operations from tissue collection through imaging
- Build tissue specimen tracking systems to follow samples through the histology workflow
- Develop high-performance whole-slide image viewers for rendering billion-pixel microscopy images in the browser
- Create annotation and analysis tools for scientists to score pathology findings and align serial sections
- Build ML annotation pipelines to surface model predictions for scientist validation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Strong full-stack engineering skills
- Experience building software used by real people
- Ability to collaborate deeply with users to translate problems into software
- Strong ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript
