About the role

About the Company

Neuralink is creating devices that enable a bi-directional interface with the brain to restore movement to the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and revolutionize human-digital interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Own the software stack powering pathology and histology operations from tissue collection through imaging
  • Build tissue specimen tracking systems to follow samples through the histology workflow
  • Develop high-performance whole-slide image viewers for rendering billion-pixel microscopy images in the browser
  • Create annotation and analysis tools for scientists to score pathology findings and align serial sections
  • Build ML annotation pipelines to surface model predictions for scientist validation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Strong full-stack engineering skills
  • Experience building software used by real people
  • Ability to collaborate deeply with users to translate problems into software
  • Strong ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript
