Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and support software applications and cloud-based infrastructures in support of the United States Air Force and Department of War.
• Work within a highly collaborative, multi-contractor support team in a dynamic, fast-paced, agile environment.
• Implement full-stack web application development solutions.
• Utilize GitOps and CI/CD tools to maintain high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical experience.
• Proficiency in web application development frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience with API development and implementation.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Golang, Python, Java, or C#).
• Experience with database development (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Experience working within an Agile SDLC (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a security background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Platform One or other Department of War Software Factories.
• Experience with application deployment in Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including VPC, EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management tools (Keycloak, Appgate, Okta).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts.
