Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Add new features and capabilities to the DroneArmor CUAS C2 Software product line
• Integrate new CUAS sensors and effectors with existing software using APIs and ICDs
• Leverage internally developed AI/ML capabilities to enhance system performance
• Diagnose and develop technical solutions for software issues discovered during testing or deployment
• Develop and code interface messaging software components to facilitate system communication
• Support demonstrations of developed CUAS capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline
• US citizenship is required
• Must have an active Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain one
• Expertise with Java software development
• Proficiency in developing and implementing custom software algorithms and applications
• Experience working with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
• Experience in designing, testing, debugging, and documenting software
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian products, GIT, Docker, Swing, or React
• Expertise in AI/ML algorithm development and training
• Familiarity with CUAS, Electronic Warfare (EW), Command & Control (C2), Radars, or Communications Electronics
• Experience working with or developing Geospatial Systems
• Proficiency in Python (Expert) and C++ (Intermediate/Advanced) for AI/ML specific roles
• Experience deploying ML models to edge devices and optimizing inference pipelines
