Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, analyze, design, develop, and maintain software applications
• Craft high-performing, reusable code, implement unit tests, and engage in code reviews
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and quality analysts to build new features
• Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Work with QA to formulate test plans and execute functional, integration, and system tests
• Contribute to issue resolution and bug fixes pre and post release
• Create necessary technical documentation

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience using Azure, C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages, and Web APIs
• Strong fundamentals in Algorithms, Data Structures, and RDBMS
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, or MySQL
• Understanding of SOLID principles, Object-Oriented design, and Clean Architecture
• Knowledge of ADO.NET, Entity Framework, or other ORMs
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB
• Understanding of Agile processes and CI/CD using Azure DevOps
• Proficiency with Git concepts including branching and pull requests
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (Fundamentals, Developer, Architect, or Administrator)
• Experience with Event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and Microservices
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Low Code/No Code solutions
• Contributions to GitHub, Stack Overflow, or technical blog posts
• Experience working in a global environment across multiple time zones
• Prior development experience with Java technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
