Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software for the Compass product line
• Work on Linux-based systems and embedded platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and field support
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile development activities
• Troubleshoot issues and support product enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience or a strong eagerness to learn
• Knowledge of Linux environments (Ubuntu, Yocto) and scripting (bash, etc.)
• Proficiency or interest in Python, C/C++, Qt Framework, Java, or Go
• Understanding of Git and automated testing frameworks
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP, protocols)
• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket)
