Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core framework capabilities including agent orchestration, Flows, task execution, and public APIs.
• Own the contributor experience by triaging and reviewing community PRs and issues while mentoring new contributors.
• Make and document API and developer experience (DX) decisions with a focus on backward compatibility and migration paths.
• Uphold high engineering quality through clean, well-tested Python, strong typing, and robust CI processes.
• Write and improve documentation, examples, and guides to help developers succeed.
• Engage with the community through GitHub Discussions, Discord, and other channels to turn feedback into roadmap signals.

Requirements

• Strong Python engineering background with a track record of shipping library or framework code.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects, including managing issue backlogs and public communication.
• Genuine passion for API design and developer experience.
• Familiarity with the modern Python toolchain, including uv, pytest, type hints, and pre-commit.
• Working knowledge of LLMs and agent concepts.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environment.
