Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build high-performance applications capable of processing large volumes of data
• Design and optimize APIs, data models, and backend architecture
• Work with Elasticsearch and MongoDB to build efficient search and data storage solutions
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Take ownership of features from design through deployment and support

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in backend software development
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience working with Elasticsearch and MongoDB
• Experience building applications that handle high-scale or high-volume data
• Strong algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
• Experience managing features throughout the complete product lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
