Software Engineer, Observability

Responsibilities

• Own core observability infrastructure, including distributed logging, time series, and trace storage
• Build AI-native tools that help engineers detect, understand, and resolve issues autonomously
• Contribute to UI experiences such as dashboards, notebooking, or interactive debugging
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and user ops to build the next generation of observability products

Requirements

• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems in production
• Knowledge of logging systems or time series databases
• Strong fundamentals in systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS)
• Full-stack development capabilities or strong product sensibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or contributing to observability systems like Prometheus or OpenTelemetry
