Software Engineer - OAC & BI Publisher Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, customize, and maintain pixel-perfect, customer-facing, and statutory documents using BI Publisher's RTF templates.
• Create advanced Data Models in BI Publisher utilizing complex SQL queries, PL/SQL, XML, and XSLT to extract data from Oracle Fusion and OAC.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards, analysis, and OAC data visualizations to support executive decision-making.
• Configure report bursting for multi-destination delivery and implement automated scheduling and emailing.
• Develop applications in compliance with functional and non-functional requirements, including unit testing.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models to handle large-volume datasets efficiently.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot report generation issues, and maintain system documentation for audit and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in software engineering or data reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in creating RTF templates using Microsoft Word and BI Publisher Desktop plugins.
• Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL for structured data modeling.
• Solid experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
