About the role
Responsibilities
- Code, develop, integrate, and debug software artifacts for geospatial solutions
- Write validation tests against existing baselines to ensure code integrity
- Assist with unit testing and programming using Python, Java Spring, and other modern frameworks
- Support Agile development efforts
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- DoD 8570-compliant certification (e.g., Security+)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Proficiency in software development within service-oriented environments (Cloud, SOA, Web Services)
- Hands-on programming experience in C++, Java, TypeScript, and Bash
- Experience with Spring, Gradle, OpenJDK, React, and Node frameworks
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Amazon RDS, Postgres)
- Strong coding experience in Python
- Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies
- Experience with web protocols including HTTP and SSL
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting the NGA customer
- Proficiency in AWS and cloud technologies
