About the Company

Mosaic is the AI-driven deal modeling platform for private markets, used by leading investors and advisors including Warburg Pincus, CVC, New Mountain, and Evercore. Mosaic automates and standardizes core deal analyses—such as LBOs and DCFs—so investment teams can move faster, reduce spreadsheet risk, and spend more time on investment judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own features from idea to design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Build intuitive, polished UI workflows and backend APIs
• Improve the architecture of core systems powering modeling and analysis
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Ensure performance and reliability for workflows used in live deal environments
• Partner with product, design, and GTM teams to translate needs into product
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and system planning

Requirements

• 2–6+ years of experience building modern web applications
• Experience working across frontend and backend to own features end-to-end
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
• Experience building APIs and services (Node, Python, Go, etc.)
• Strong data modeling instincts and comfort with relational databases
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and production systems
• Self-starter mentality suited for fast-moving startup environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building tools for finance, analytics, or high-compliance workflows
• Familiarity with AI product patterns such as LLMs and agents
• Experience with spreadsheet-like interaction workflows
• Exposure to observability tooling or performance profiling
