Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud-native and serverless applications using Python and TypeScript
• Support the implementation of full-stack solutions, including basic front-end components using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to build, test, and enhance product features
• Assist in integrating data-driven and AI-enabled components into existing systems
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews to improve code quality
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established development standards and processes
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues in development and production environments

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of web software development experience with an understanding of the full development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript and familiarity with frameworks such as FastAPI or Node.js
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Basic understanding of microservices and/or event-driven architecture concepts
• Working knowledge of software engineering best practices including clean code and maintainability
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, or ECS
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools through academic or practical experience
• Experience working with medium to large datasets
• Experience working in agile team environments
