Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Fabric Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and OneLake.
• Design and build agentic AI workflows using Copilot Studio and Microsoft Agentic frameworks to deliver intelligent solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in Python, PySpark, and SQL following standard engineering practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical partners to translate requirements into scalable data and AI software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, follow secure coding standards, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and AI workflows to deliver stable, production-ready solutions.
• Experiment with new AI tools and frameworks to continuously improve agent-based capabilities and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with exposure to cloud-based Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with working knowledge of PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC processes, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in agentic AI workflows using LangChain, Copilot Studio, or Microsoft AI services.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI-powered solutions to solve complex business challenges.
• Awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
