Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and implement extensible, maintainable code for products, services, or features.
• Apply coding patterns and best practices, including the use of generative AI and organized source code structures.
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system health and respond to service degradations or downtime.
• Contribute to live site operations and incident response on a rotational, on-call basis.
• Support the development of design documents and identify technical dependencies across teams.
• Partner with product managers and security subject matter experts to incorporate customer requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 1+ years of technical engineering experience with professional coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience working with distributed systems and highly scalable services.
