Software Engineer-Map

Responsibilities

• Build in-house map solutions serving all on-demand services
• Establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs
• Lead large projects from ideation to execution
• Write and review design documents and share best practices
• Perform data mining on driver trajectory big data to improve map quality
• Develop and improve map traffic models, services, and matching algorithms
• Collaborate with teams to deliver maintainable, readable, and testable code
• Support and communicate with internal partners to achieve results

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in map engine or related solutions (Traffic, ETA, Routing, Matching, POI)
• Proficiency in Golang, C++, and Python
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns
• Experience with middleware such as Redis, Kafka, and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Kubernetes and DevOps practices
• Good verbal and written English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Data Mining, Data Science, or Machine Learning
• Growth mindset and willingness to teach others
• Strong interest in latest mapping technology research
