Responsibilities

• Contribute to the foundation of a robust, well-thought-out architecture
• Innovate to break through technical limitations and deliver delightful features
• Build non-trivial UX solutions with complex UI elements
• Achieve minimum latency while working with complex documents
• Ensure performance by applying knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Develop shared components used across Grammarly’s Apple platform product offerings
• Use Swift, AppKit, and CoreGraphics while employing engineering best practices

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Swift, OOD, and OOP
• Proficiency in multithreading (GCD)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
• Fluency in engineering best practices such as code review, test coverage, and monitoring
• Experience developing desktop applications that work with Mac internals is preferred
