Responsibilities
- Lead development on large parts of the platform with high ownership and user obsession
- Apply back-end and distributed systems experience to scale the Rails-based platform
- Drive continuous improvement in code quality, tools, and processes
- Work collaboratively in San Francisco and with a global team
- Identify customer challenges and develop innovative solutions through prototyping and delivery
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience using Ruby on Rails
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Appreciation for a collaborative, test-driven environment
- Ability to write well-structured and maintainable code
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with service-oriented architectures, GraphQL, and REST
- Experience working with front-end teams using React/TypeScript
- Experience with Docker
- High-growth SaaS experience involving scalability challenges
- Familiarity with building and leveraging AI tools
