Software Engineer Level II

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, insightful data-marts and tables
• Deliver quality data enhancements and reports for the Finance Department within Agile sprints
• Obtain, transform, and maintain large quantities of data while solving quality issues
• Build and improve self-service BI solutions in Power BI
• Deliver ETL across data platforms including Snowflake and MS Azure
• Develop APIs and ensure code is maintained using DevOps build tools
• Document all changes and include commentary within source code

Requirements

• Background in software engineering with strong SQL skills
• 5+ years of design and development using .NET and C#
• Experience with ETL pipeline development
• Experience with cloud solutions such as MS Azure or Snowflake
• Experience with Power BI dashboard development
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and agile methodologies
• Experience working in large data warehouse environments
• Proficiency with JSON/XML
• 4-year degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Data Factory
• Exposure to Snowflake or MS Azure data platforms
• Experience using Web API with .NET Core
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, BI Service, Apps, and DAX
• Experience with SQL stored procedures, views, and functions
• Experience using GIT (GitHub) and CI/CD solutions
