Software Engineer, Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide front line management for a small technical team working on MES projects
• Operate across the full stack including frontend, backend, database, and DevOps
• Develop software using automated testing, code reviews, and Agile methodologies
• Define product roadmaps, refine backlogs, and manage releases
• Lead scrum activities, metrics, and agile workflows
• Recruit, mentor, and develop team members through regular performance reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing software solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven experience in team leadership
• Technical expertise in HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Angular, React, or Vue
• Proficiency with SQL, REST APIs, NodeJS, and C#/.Net
• Experience with Linux development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with User Interface development and database application development
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch
• Experience in aerospace industry domains (Launch Operations, ERP, QMS, PLM)
• Program management experience
