Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and sustainment of secure, mission-critical applications within classified environments
• Architect scalable, containerized solutions using modern frameworks and microservices patterns
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows such as GitLab and GitHub
• Implement infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform or Ansible
• Design and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL and SQL-based systems
• Support operations in SCIF environments and classified networks including NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS
• Serve as a technical leader across Agile/Scrum teams and partner with government stakeholders

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8 years of recent software engineering experience in defense, intelligence, or enterprise environments
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java/JEE
• Strong experience with SQL and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky) and container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
• Experience developing within classified network environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or DevOps engineering
• Proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, or Node.js
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
