Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and improve core platforms that drive quantitative trading teams
• Work closely with quantitative researchers to create new research infrastructure
• Collaborate with technologists to improve the scalability of production systems
• Act as a multiplier on team productivity by improving core systems as the business expands into new markets

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional work experience with Python on large distributed systems
• Proven experience working on a Linux platform
• Proven success working with large data sets
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work in a self-directed manner
