Responsibilities

• Independently scope, design, and ship features across the stack
• Make architectural decisions that balance maintainability with delivery pressure
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions and identify edge cases
• Articulate technical trade-offs regarding performance, complexity, and user impact
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and provide thoughtful code reviews
• Use AI tools like Cursor, Copilot, and ChatGPT to accelerate development velocity
• Identify opportunities to improve product features or workflows using AI capabilities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production software systems
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, Go, or similar)
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and web technologies
• Proven ability to work independently on complex problems and navigate ambiguity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with product managers and cross-functional partners
