Software Engineer IV

Responsibilities

• Develop moderately complex code using both front-end and back-end programming languages across multiple platforms.
• Design, create, and deliver program specifications for code development and support on various projects.
• Perform in-depth analysis, modification, and unit testing to develop concise application documentation.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine solution approaches.
• Advise leadership on the design and enforcement of application standards, including PCI security compliance.
• Provide on-the-job training and technical expertise to other software engineers.
• Manage resource estimates and billable hours for complex initiatives and projects.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of two or more opposing front-end and back-end technologies.
• Proven experience working with various APIs and external services.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
