Software Engineer, Internal Apps

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack internal applications and data platforms to collect, organize, and visualize neural signal recordings, device telemetries, surgery recordings, and experimental data
• Develop Lab Systems software as a digital collaboration hub for cross-functional teams
• Build ERP software that orchestrates brain-computer interface design and tracking
• Support DevOps and infrastructure initiatives to increase developer productivity
• Work directly with engineers and scientists to prototype and ship tools that accelerate Neuralink's mission

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience shipping a product that has been actively used
• Full-stack engineering capability (Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript preferred)
• Ability to design and implement simple and elegant software solutions
• Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving abilities
• Ownership mentality and comfort with ambiguity
• Understanding of how software works at a fundamental level
