Responsibilities

• Build enterprise grade, reliable, and trustworthy software and services
• Implement and test features in query compilation and compiler design
• Work on large-scale distributed systems and high performance data processing
• Contribute to database engineering, service runtime, or cloud engineering teams
• Engage with cutting edge database technology and research

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program
• Completed BS degree, with an MS or PhD in progress
• Completed coursework in algorithms, data structures, and operating systems
• Excellent programming skills in C++ or Java
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Systems programming skills including multi-threading and concurrency
• Fluent English language skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Math
• Coursework in Database systems, distributed systems, or cloud computing
• Research or publications in databases or distributed systems
• Experience with big data engineering, processing, or data migration
• Contributions to open source projects
