About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop safety-critical software for surgical robots and validate code on physical hardware
- Own a project integral to robot functioning from design through implementation
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, biological, and neuroscience disciplines
- Troubleshoot issues with a strong bias for action to support robot operations
Requirements
- Evidence of exceptional ability in engineering or computer science
- Experience writing performant applications in C, C++, or Rust
- Ability to work on mission-critical and safety-critical systems
- Strong bias for action and first principles thinking
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with robotics or high-reliability systems
- Linux development and debugging experience
- Background in computer vision, kinematics, or motion planning
- Experience with medical robots or high-precision environments
