Software Engineer Intern, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Develop foundational infrastructure for software and systems supporting brain-computer interface experiences
• Enhance developer experience with robust tooling and build-system infrastructure
• Build infrastructure for hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing across firmware, BCI, and robot teams
• Deploy and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure solutions
• Support internal software teams with foundational engineering and systems administration

Requirements

• IAC tools (Terraform, Docker, Packer, Ansible, Cloud-Init, Kickstart)
• Compiled languages (Rust, Go, or C/C++)
• Cryptographic protocols and authentication schemes (TLS, x509, 802.1x, U2F, SAML)
• Modern Linux boot process, UEFI, TPM measured boot, Secure Boot, Systemd
• Systems administration on Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Modern networking and common protocols
• 0 to 1 infrastructure architecture and delivery
