Software Engineer Intern

About the Company

Deductive AI is building the world's first real-time reasoning engine that can help root cause and mitigate large-scale software outages by reasoning about distributed systems, code, and statistical anomalies in real-time across unprecedented volumes of telemetry data.

Responsibilities

• Work on cutting-edge technology at the intersection of AI, code understanding, and data analytics
• Contribute to distributed systems, building AI agents, and fine-tuning/benchmarking LLMs
• Build foundational code and data processing systems for large-scale structured and unstructured data

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, Javascript, or C++
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries
• Authorized to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with code and observability tools
• Knowledge of real-time analytics and large-scale system design
