Software Engineer, Integrity Foundations

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance systems to detect and prevent various forms of abuse, including financial fraud, botting, and scripting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that mitigate adversarial attacks without compromising user experience
• Assist with responses to active platform incidents and build new tooling and infrastructure to address fundamental security problems
• Design and implement robust systems to ensure platform integrity and reduce risk across the ecosystem

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience setting up and maintaining production backend services and data pipelines
• Expertise in building software systems to defend against abuse and adversarial behaviors
• Strong ability to own problems end-to-end and pick up new technical knowledge as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, Python, Postgres, or Kafka
• Demonstrated interest in AI Safety and production-level security environments
