Software Engineer - Insights Platform

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the data and analytics infrastructure powering physical AI development, from ingestion to agentic analytics.
• Develop high-reliability ingestion pipelines to ensure data correctness and freshness across diverse upstream sources.
• Optimize the query critical path to ensure low latency and stability for all platform users.
• Design and implement autonomy-native visualizations, including geographic views and simulation playback.
• Architect agentic analytics capabilities that allow users to interact with data through natural language.
• Manage the dataset lifecycle and data lakehouse health to support massive increases in data volume.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience building production data infrastructure, platform engineering, or distributed systems.
• Expertise in large-scale data processing and query execution at production scale.
• Strong backend fundamentals including API design, service reliability, and query optimization.
• Experience with distributed system trade-offs, telemetry, and monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data lakehouse architectures, table formats, or query federation.
• Experience developing, testing, and shipping software using coding agents.
• Knowledge of LLM tool use, agentic workflows, or semantic layers for natural language interfaces.
• Exposure to multimodal data, geospatial systems, or AV/robotics tooling.
