Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform and LLM inference
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Create a self-serve infrastructure platform for engineering teams
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines and release management
• Architect and operate distributed systems leveraging databases, retrieval systems, and ML models
• Develop core data serving abstractions, authentication, and security features
• Enhance observability tooling including metrics, logging, and tracing
• Lead incident management and improve system resilience through root cause analysis

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Expertise in CI/CD, release management, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry)
• Experience operating distributed systems in production
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Production experience with LLMs and machine learning models
• Background in distributed systems and agentic architecture
• Familiarity with security protocols like OAuth, SSO, and mTLS
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
