Responsibilities
- Design and maintain core infrastructure across cloud environments
- Build infrastructure-as-code workflows to automate deployments and scaling
- Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain reliability
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments
- Support disaster recovery planning and ensure high availability of systems
- Partner with product and research teams to design architectures that scale with workload demands
- Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in compute, storage, and networking
- Implement security best practices and compliance frameworks across infrastructure
Requirements
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Deep experience with containers and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of distributed architectures
- Programming proficiency in Python and Rust, or willingness to learn Rust quickly
- Proven ability to ship reliable infrastructure in production environments
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems
- Database scaling and optimization experience
- Observability and monitoring expertise
- Network architecture and performance tuning experience
- Security and compliance experience
