Software Engineer, Infrastructure Platform

Responsibilities

• Design and build next-generation CMDB systems and DCIM platforms for rack and server operations
• Develop end-to-end asset lifecycle management systems and workflow orchestration
• Build monitoring and observability platforms integrating telemetry from BMS, EPMS, and IT devices
• Create self-service portals and automation for region bootstrapping and fleet-scale management
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data center operations, network engineering, and security teams
• Evaluate build vs. buy decisions for platform components and champion modern CI/CD practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience building production systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
• Experience with RESTful APIs, data models, and distributed systems
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and Redis
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, and Ansible
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and Linux/Unix
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CMDB systems such as NetBox or Device42
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration frameworks like Temporal, Airflow, or Camunda
• Knowledge of monitoring stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Background in infrastructure automation, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Experience in data center operations or physical infrastructure management
