Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain streamlined processes for building and deploying scalable software-defined networking solutions on AWS
• Enhance the Kubernetes compute platform with new functionalities focusing on AWS networking services
• Collaborate across engineering teams to implement observability best practices using tools like Splunk or Datadog
• Act as a product owner for infrastructure by collecting feedback and addressing engineering pain points

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in infrastructure and platform development
• Proficiency in Python
• Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration tools like EKS and ECS
• Knowledge of AWS networking services including VPC, SGs, NATGWs, ALBs/ELBs, and Route53
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Cloudformation
• Understanding of API Gateway solutions
