Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design and operate shared infrastructure, internal platforms, and core services
• Work with backend, device, and hardware teams to define service interfaces and deployment patterns
• Consolidate fragmented or siloed implementations through architectural changes
• Build and maintain shared platforms that multiple engineering teams rely on in production
• Introduce infrastructure patterns that support distributed services and hardware-integrated systems
• Build tooling to improve local and remote development environments
• Own and improve CI/CD systems as the organization scales
• Document platform architecture and recommended engineering practices

Requirements

• Experience working on complex or failure-prone systems
• Strong experience in backend or infrastructure engineering within cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong programming skills in Go or Python
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and containerized workloads
• Experience designing and evolving CI/CD systems and software delivery workflows
• Ability to collaborate across backend, device, and hardware-adjacent engineering teams
