Software Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end test strategies.
• Spearhead automation coverage for assigned systems using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to validate the quality of software solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding QE delivery status.
• Guide the team in building robust testing frameworks and cloud testing expertise.
• Manage multiple testing efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in software testing or Quality Engineering.
• Deep expertise in Playwright automation and web browser testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with 5+ years of automation scripting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Karate for API and web services testing.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of BDD, DevOps, and CI/CD concepts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain knowledge in Brokerage or Stock Plan industries.
• Experience with Service Virtualization tools like Wire-Mock.
• Experience with non-functional testing, including Accessibility (NVDA, JAWS), Chaos Testing, or Performance Testing.
• Familiarity with Client/Server architecture and Experience APIs.
